The New Yorker's latest release "Saccharine Morning" proves that Enabl.ed is more than only "able" to produce deep, meaningful and groundbreaking music. Excellent tracks like "Aluminum Digger" combine raw, steel-cold industrial drums with hip-hop-esque drums and thrilling spheres while the ambigous and introspective tone in the name-giving "Saccharine Morning" is enhanced by longing, sugar-sweet strings and bittersweet melodies in a sophisticated matrix with hints of grindy drum n bass. In contrast, the very reduced and experimental "Still memory" brings a moment of clarity and vision, giving the listener just enough time to fasten the seat belt again – with this record, the trip is never over.
